Restaurants
Fanning out, at the foot of its splendid circular staircase, to the garden into which it opens, the capacious and luminous Main Restaurant proposes gratifying continental and other breakfasts as from 7.30 am.
A huge buffet, disposed on several islets, whets the appetite amid birdsong and children’s laughter.
For lunch, from 12.30 to 2.30 pm, a somewhat lighter buffet formula is proposed. Dinner, from 6.30 to 9.30 pm, is a feast fit for a king, with a different theme laid on each evening.
Demonstrative cuisine, flavours of the world, exploring the best of Mauritian cuisine… Middle-Eastern, Gondola, Bongo, Versailles, Dodo, Great Wall, Japanese evenings…
Here you’ll find every reason in the world to indulge yourself, and none why you shouldn’t: at Le Coco Beach, the pleasures of the palate are an integral part of the art of living.
Boat House Bar and Grill
In its ambience of wood, thatch and parquet flooring and its dominant accents of turquoise and lapis lazuli, the Boat House, with its airy interior and teak terrace, is the ideal place for romantic lunches or dinners lulled by the gentle lapping of the waves.
The restaurant specialises in grilled seafood and proposes an à la carte menu.
At lunch, treat yourself to the exotic flavours of the East – such as grilled squid satay with rocket leaves and pistachio sauce or delicious pan-fried fresh-water prawns with chilli sauce – before yielding to the tempting stuffed almond macaroons.
At dinner, try the red-tuna sushi and salted-fish nourimaki or the grilled crayfish or again the grilled heart of fillet of beef with foie gras and truffle sauce, accompanied by a wine from the excellent wine list.
All grills are prepared in front of the customer, who can thus savour a cocktail at the bar while watching the chefs at work.
Entertainment
Dynamic and vital best describe the nightlife at Le Coco Beach. Centred mainly at the discotheque, groovers from six to sixty can join in the fun on the dance-floor every night, preceded by a great variety of cabarets: Afro Jazz Dance, Coco Night, Coco Fantaisie, Francofolies, Hollywood, Indian show, Cocaramba, Juke Box, Brésil Carnaval, MMT Africa, Sultan's Night, Zenfant des Iles.
